Members, roles and permissions

A workspace holds your projects, members and plan. Everyone in it can edit every project; owners and admins also manage members and billing. With team roles, you choose who may publish, create projects or manage connections.

On this page

Roles and permissions: who may create and delete projects, publish to live, invite members and manage connections, with Delete projects and Publish to live raised to admins and owners, and what Owner, Admin and Member mean.

Invite peopleLink to this section

  1. Open Members

Open Members in the workspace sidebar. Under Invite someone, type their email address.

  2. Choose a role and invite

Choose Member or Admin, then Invite. Admin comes with team roles.

  3. They accept

Xodia emails them an invitation, and you can copy the invitation link too. They sign in or create an account with the email address the invitation went to.

Starter1, up to 3$12
Pro3, up to 5$12
Agency10, up to 15$12

When every seat is taken, add a seat in Billing & usage to invite someone else. After moving to a plan with fewer seats, nobody is removed: the members past the seats can view but not edit, and new invitations are blocked. Owners keep write access first, then admins, then members in the order they joined.

  • Owner: everything, including billing, the permissions below, transferring ownership and deleting the workspace.
  • Admin: helps run the workspace: members, billing and anything set to Admins and owners. Comes with team roles.
  • Member: works on projects, and can do anything set to All members.

Remove, leave and transferLink to this section

  • Removing a member ends their access to the workspace and its projects right away. Their projects stay, and their seat frees up.
  • You can leave a workspace in Organization settings, Danger zone, unless it's your only one. The only owner has to transfer ownership first.
  • Owners transfer ownership and delete the workspace in Organization settings, under Danger zone.
Note:

The Workspace ID, which support may ask for, is in Organization settings, General. See Still stuck.
