Work together on a site
When teammates work on the same site and branch, Xodia shows who is there and what each person has selected, and anyone can leave comments on the page. Site activity keeps a list of who changed what on every branch, by people and by their AI.
On this page
Xodia with two teammates on the same branch: their faces in the top bar, Sam Lee's dashed outline marked editing on the heading you have selected, Ana Ruiz's outline on the paragraph, coloured dots in the Navigator, and the design panel's note that Sam Lee is editing this element.
See who is hereLink to this section
Everyone with the same project open on the same branch joins it together. Their faces appear in the top bar, before Saved, each in its own colour. After a while without moving, a face dims. With more people than fit, a number opens People here: everyone, with the page and screen size they are on. Starter and up
- On the canvas, each person's selection has an outline in their colour with their name above it. While they type or change styles, the outline turns dashed and the name says editing.
- In the Navigator, a dot in their colour marks the rows they have selected, and a ring marks a closed row with their selection inside.
- When you select an element someone else is editing, the design panel says so, for example Sam Lee is editing this element. It is a warning only: you can still edit.
The top bar with four teammates' faces, Lou Diaz dimmed as idle, and the People here list open: each person with the page and screen size they are on. On the page, Sam Lee and Kim Park both have the heading selected, their name tags side by side, and Ana Ruiz is editing the paragraph.
People on other branches don't show. The team view needs a second person in the workspace: Free has one seat. Your own second tab on the same branch shows as a face too.
Follow someoneLink to this section
Click a face, or a name in People here. Xodia opens their page, switches the canvas to their screen size, and selects and scrolls to the element they have selected.
Following a teammate: after a click on Sam Lee's face in the top bar, the canvas selects the heading Sam has selected, at the Tablet size Sam is using, with Sam's outline and name on it.
Comments and reviewLink to this section
Anyone in your workspace can comment on the page, reply and resolve.
On the canvas, press C or open Comments in the top bar and choose Comment, then click an element or an empty spot. The comment keeps its page, screen size and element.
Mention someone
Type @ and pick a teammate. They see it under the bell in the top bar, and by email unless they switch off Email me when someone mentions me in Account settings.
Resolve or send to your AI
Resolve moves a thread to the Archive tab of the Comments panel, where Reopen brings it back. Send to AI hands the thread, with its element and screen size, to your AI as a request.
A comment shows on the canvas only at the screen size it was made on. The Comments panel lists them for this size, all sizes or all pages, and clicking one takes you to its page and size.
Site activityLink to this section
Open Activity
Open the project's Settings and choose Activity, or choose Site activity at the foot of the Agent panel.
Read and filter the list
Each row says who made the change, what happened, on which branch and when. Filter by person, branch, who made the change (Members, AI or GitHub pushes) and what happened.
Restore a save
On a save of the branch you have open, choose Restore, then Restore again to confirm. The current version is marked Current version.
The list shows:
- Saves and restore points, with the message, the number of files changed and the commit. A save that took a teammate's edits says with and their name.
- Restores, merges, and branches created and deleted.
- Deploys to your host, settings changes such as an environment variable added (its name, never its value), published CMS content, and duplicates of the site.
- Saves by your AI, shown as AI for and your name, with a robot badge.
- On a site from GitHub, commits pushed outside Xodia, with a GitHub badge and a link to the commit. They are fetched when you open Activity.
The list loads with the preview stopped; Restore needs the preview running. Live in the card's corner means new activity on your branch shows as it happens. Read-only seats and view-only branches see the list but can't restore. Free and Starter keep 30 days of activity, and Pro and Agency keep all of it.
Settings, Activity: a save by Maya Chen with Sam Lee marked as the current version, a save by AI for Ana Ruiz with Restore, a deploy to Vercel, an environment variable added and a push made on GitHub, with filters for person, branch, author and kind of change.
Names in your git historyLink to this section
Pushes from Xodia are committed under the person who pushed. People who sign in with GitHub are committed with GitHub's private noreply address, so a public repository never shows a private email. Edits by your AI add a Xodia AI co-author line.
