Edit a folder on your computer
Local folder mode opens a site you've cloned on your computer in Xodia. The editor runs in your browser; the preview and every file change run on your machine, in your folder, with your own git. It uses no preview hours.
On this page
Settings, Code and Git: beside the GitHub repository, Open on this computer shows the xodia dev command to run in the site's folder, with a one-time code that works for 15 minutes.

In the project's Settings, open Code and Git and choose Get the command.
Run it in your site's folder
Paste it in a terminal in your site's folder, inside its git repository. npx fetches the xodia tool from Xodia the first time; there is nothing else to install.
Edit as usual
The project switches to your folder as soon as it connects. Edit in Xodia and in your own editor side by side.
The command looks like this, with your own one-time code in place of the one below:
npx -y --package=https://app.xodia.ai/ cli/ xodia-0.2.7.tgz xodia dev --connect <code> --server https://app.xodia.aiThe code works once, for 15 minutes. After the first time, xodia dev reconnects on its own. The pairing stays on your computer and out of your repository.
