# Plans, trial and limits

Xodia has four plans, billed monthly per workspace in US dollars. Every new workspace starts with a free Pro trial. This page lists what each plan includes and what happens when you reach a limit.

## What every plan includes

- **The full visual editor.** Canvas, style panels, Navigator, pages, variables, audits, Code tab, inline text and component props.
- **Every major framework.** Next.js, Astro, Gatsby, Vite and React, React Router, Remix; Tailwind v4 or v3, plain CSS.
- **Class manager.** See where each class is used, rename it everywhere, clean up unused ones.
- **Drafts, checkpoints and restore.** Nothing goes live until you save. Restore any checkpoint.
- **Image converter.** WebP and AVIF, SVG and GIF compression in the Assets panel, in your browser.
- **GitHub import and sync.** An imported repo counts as a project.
- **Local folder mode.** Edit a folder on your computer. Uses no preview hours.
- **MCP access.** 26 tools and 9 prompts for your own AI.
- **Your AI helper.** The xodia CLI runs your own AI from Xodia.
- **43 core skills.** Plus framework and styling packs.
- **Page SEO basics.** Title, description and share image on Next.js, Astro and Xodia templates.

## The free trial

A new workspace gets a trial when an owner or admin adds a card. Nothing is charged. The trial includes:

- 14 days of Pro
- 10 preview hours in total
- 1 preview at a time
- No built-in AI
- No charge unless you choose a plan

After 14 days the workspace moves to Free on its own, and the owner gets an email. Your projects stay, and Xodia never switches you to a paid plan. Each workspace and each card gets one trial. See [Add a card and start the trial](https://docs.xodia.ai/get-started/account#trial).

## What happens when

### You reach the project limit

New project and Duplicate stop at the limit; upgrade, or delete a project, to add another. If a workspace has more projects than its plan includes, for example after moving to a smaller plan, its most recently opened projects stay open and the rest are locked. A locked project can be renamed, moved or deleted, but not opened. Nothing is deleted, and an upgrade unlocks it at once.

### Preview hours run out

Previews that Xodia runs count toward the month's preview hours. When they're used up, previews stop until the hours reset on the 1st of next month, or until you upgrade. Local folder mode uses no preview hours, and neither do previews on your own Cloudflare account. During the trial the hours are one total for the whole trial, not a month.

### Too many previews at once

Each plan runs a number of previews at the same time. Starting one more asks you to stop another first; Xodia names the ones running. A preview stops by itself after 20 minutes without use.

### You work on Free

Free works on each project's default branch. Other branches, such as ones synced from GitHub, are view only: you can open and preview them, but not edit, save or restore there.

### You have more members than seats

After moving to a plan with fewer seats, the members past the seats become read only. Owners keep write access first, then admins, then members in the order they joined. Upgrade, or remove a member, to give write access back.

### A payment fails

Your paid plan stays for 7 days from the first failed renewal while you update the card in Billing & usage. The owner gets an email the day before it ends. After that, the workspace moves to Free.

### Your plan stops including your own Cloudflare

Previews on your own Cloudflare account keep running for 7 days. Then projects from GitHub use Xodia's previews under your plan's limits, and projects whose code is stored in that Cloudflare account are paused until the plan includes it again. Previews on your own Cloudflare come with Pro and Agency.

### Built-in AI tokens run out

Built-in AI is coming soon. When it launches: Pro and Agency include AI tokens each month for built-in AI, with up to 15% of the month usable in any 24 hours. When they run out, built-in AI waits until they free up again, or you buy a top-up pack in Billing & usage. Your own AI, connected over MCP, isn't limited by these tokens.
